Dear colleagues,
Scientific Committee now welcomes short abstracts for PEVoC14.

The abstracts submitted by March 15, 2022, will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and may be accepted and added to the programme in case of vacant timeslots in certain sessions. Contributions are awaited on voice research, voice therapy, singing, and speech training, as well as on bioacoustics and clinical applications of speech technology.

To encourage the
quality of posters, the best poster will be awarded the prestigeous Gunnar Rugheimer Prize.

Participants are invited to submit an abstract for a
FREE PAPER, POSTER, or WORKSHOP. Proposals to organise a Free paper session, Round table, or Masterclass are also welcome.
  • FREE SCIENTIFIC PAPERS should present scientific work and be no longer than 12 minutes, plus 3 minutes for questions and comments. They will be grouped into sessions according to content. Abstracts for Free papers should contain the investigation's objective, method, results, and conclusion.
  • WORKSHOP and MASTERCLASS will last 50 minutes, plus 10 minutes for questions and comments. We encourage presenters to submit practical workshops. Please describe in the abstract, what the participants will see or hear, and in what way they will be involved.
  • POSTERS (max size A0 = 841×1189 mm / 33.1×46.8 in), as well as the abstract for the poster submitted, should contain the investigation's objective, method, results, and conclusion.
  • SESSION and ROUND TABLE should be proposed either as 1-hour or 2 hours long.
Please note that the list of topics is preliminary and may be subject to change. Submitting the same abstract under more than one topic is not allowed. Duplicates identified by the Scientific Committee will be rejected. The Scientific Committee has the right to suggest transferring the submitted abstract under another topic.

If your submission does not fit the proposed selection of forms and/or topics, select 'Other'  and elaborate in the headline or lead. The Scientific Committee will endeavour to allocate the abstracts according to authors’ preferences but reserves the right to amend the final list of topics and accordingly reallocate the submitted abstracts.
An abstract has been submitted successfully and has been received if the author receives an automatically generated email confirmation.

The submission of an abstract carries with it the obligation that it is actually presented at the Conference by the author or, at least, by one of the co-authors.
When the abstract is accepted by the Scientific Committee, at least the presenting author must have a valid registration for the Conference by 30 April 2022.

Notification of acceptance is scheduled for 10 April 2022.
